WHILE SHOOTING THEIR POPULAR WEB SERIES, A TEAM OF PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS FORCE A TERRIFYING

PRESENCE TO REVEAL ITSELF IN THE CURSED MALLUM FOREST WHERE PEOPLE DISAPPEAR WITHOUT A TRACE.

Forest for the Trees intends to elevate the concept of found footage to the overdue next level. The technologies our characters bring with them are our eyes and ears throughout the duration of the film. This isn’t some “Hey, look we found some cameras with tapes in em’ and then edit it all together. No, this will be told nearly in real-time. Utilizing the many tools that paranormal investigators use, we can get an unseen perspective into a frightening world. Cutting from one piece of technology to another. We will play on the senses using night vision, thermal imaging, parabolic microphones, walkie-talkies, and other unique equipment. These will be the audience's eyes and ears. The senses of sight and sound are all the audience has to experience in the film. Pushing them to feel the world we create by purposefully manipulating the way they experience it. There's a saying in Hollywood, “Give us the same thing, only different!” Although used in jest, it is a great guide when considering the potential success of a film. Forest for the Trees does this by offering a new twist in the hugely successful paranormal/supernatural world.
